The Hair Lounge is managed and owned by Jeanette. Jeanette first started work as an assistant at the former salon on the site of The Hair Lounge 25 years ago and has been involved in the hair dressing industry for more than two decades.

Jeanette has worked in many salons within Warrington in her early career. She moved away from the commercial side over 15 years ago and gained a teaching certificate in hair dressing before teaching numerous students to level 1, 2 and 3 N.V.Q. She has helped students map their own career in hair dressing, from Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire to Merseyside.

Before taking over the hair lounge, Jeanette spent the previous 8 years working in the prestigious £1m five story training salon in the heart of Liverpool centre,

HERBERT OF LIVERPOOL. Jeanette has organized and judge student hair shows, competitions and even been involved in the fly on the wall documentary soap SHAMPOO broadcast on ITV.

Jeanette enjoys her work and is dedicated to her career. Attention to detail and perfection are what drives Jeanette and The Hair Lounge’s high reputation.

A. Yes it is real hair. The hair is sourced from all over the world our hair is bought in Europe, Asia & Indian and is of the finest quality available.

Q. How much do they cost ?

A. A full head can be any where from £270 up £950 depending on length and number of bonds applied each bond costs from; £2.70 for a 12” bond to £6.44 for a 24” length bond.

Q. How many will I need for my hair?

A. Everybody's Hair is different, so a consultation is needed to establish what we can do for you! There is no obligation, and we will give you the best advice we can and a price of how much the cost will be.

Q. What is a bond & how are they applied to my head ?

A. Bond, is strands of hair, held together to make a hair extension the hair extension is joined to my hair with an applicator, and hot wax near the root of the hair, it doesn't burn the hair or head.

Q. Will the extensions damage my hair?

A. No provided you use the correct shampoo, conditioner & hair extension brush, all available in the salon, during your treatment our vhair extension specialist will show & explain how to use the brush correctly.

Q. How long do they last ?

A. We recommend that you have your hair extensions taken out and reapplied after 3 months.

Q. Are they guaranteed & if so for how long ?

A. Yes, your guarantee lasts for six month providing you use the brush, shampoo & conditioner that is recommended and you follow the guide lines laid down.

Q. Can I use my hair straighteners on my new hair extension ?

A. Of course, but you will still need to use hot iron spray, to Protect the hair extension and your own hair when using hair stylers.

Q. Will the extensions match the colour of my hair ?

A. We have over 80 different shades available, from dark browns through warm reds to the lightest blondes, we cater for all shades and are confident that you will find a match you will be happy with.

Q. Will I have to have a consultation ?

A. Yes, its very important that you speak to the stylist that will carry out the extension work ,so that both you and the stylist can establish the exact look, colour and style you want.
